Day 1
Negombo / Colombo to Sigiriya & Return
Very early departure. Drive to Sigiriya — the iconic 5th-century rock fortress rising 200m above the jungle. Climb the Lion Rock and see the famous frescoes painted into the rock face and the ancient mirror wall. Breathtaking panoramic views from the summit. Descend and have lunch in Dambulla. Visit the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple — Sri Lanka's largest and best-preserved cave temple complex with 150+ Buddha statues spanning five caves. Option to extend with an afternoon Minneriya elephant safari. Return to Colombo / Negombo.
